Tyneka Juanita Washington has been in the youth development arena since 2013. She grew up knowing the power of a good leader, thanks to the mentorship of many teachers, counselors, and community leaders that gave her the wisdom to pursue youth development. The skills and beliefs that those mentors instilled in her, is what drove her to stand on that very same hill many years later.
Her devotion to youth development naturally opened doors to leadership and community development, since the drive to see a healthy thriving next generation required actively engaging leaders and communities in order to serve more people. After seeing the need, she decided to serve and support community leaders with their visions for the next generation.
Since 2016, Tyneka has been serving, leading, and coaching within a variety of youth programs all over Southern California. In 2021, she began “The Garden Treehouse” and has been developing ways to better reach community leaders and extend their impact.
